Privacy Policy
Nexisia · last updated 11 September 2026Deep Tether is made by Nexisia. This page explains what the game stores and why.
What we collect
- Device identifier — a random identifier your device gives the game, used to create a guest account so your progress can be saved on our servers.
- Account details — if you sign in with e‑mail, Google or Apple, we store the e‑mail address (or the identifier the provider gives us) and, for e‑mail accounts, a salted hash of your password. We never store the password itself.
- Gameplay data — your ship, credits, upgrades, dive results and a small set of gameplay events (for example when a dive starts or ends). We use these to save your progress across devices, balance the game and find bugs.
- Advertising — the game shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. When you watch an ad, AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier under Google's own policy. We do not sell your data.
What we do not collect
No contacts, photos, location or microphone. No third‑party analytics SDKs beyond the ad provider.
Retention
Gameplay events are deleted after 30 days. Account and progress data stay until you delete the account.
Your choices
- Delete your account in the game under Settings → Account, or on the delete account page. This removes your account, identities, devices, dive history and cloud save from our servers immediately.
- Play as a guest — nothing but the device identifier is stored.
- Questions or requests: privacy@nexisia.com.
Children
Deep Tether is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
